Desperate Kingdom of Love –PJ Harvey
I have been listening nonstop to PJ Harvey’s Uh Huh Her, lately. It’s the one PJ Harvey album I had not listened to yet because it’s always nice to have something from a favourite artist that is left undiscovered, waiting for the day you open it like an unwrapped gift. Well, that day happened sometime in March and what a gift it was!
I only knew Shame from it, and I first heard Desperate Kingdom of Love as part of an encore set during her White Chalk tour (back during my concert-going days). This song always reminds me of that magic moment.
